The most important thing before enrolling your child in a government primary school is to know the appropriate age for admission. Students must be admitted to the relevant class according to the age specified by the government – no class can admit students who are under or over the specified age.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has set the age limit for admission to government primary schools for the 2026 academic year.
