The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam date was revealed and the exam will be held on 2026 May-June. It is also known that the HSC examination in 2026 will be conducted based on the full syllabus. The information was provided by The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). It was published in an official notification on the Dhaka Education Board website on Wednesday.
The notification stated that students enrolled in the 2024-2025 Higher Secondary level academic year and began their studies from August 2024. These students will participate in the HSC and equivalent examinations held in May-June 2026, which will be held based on full marks, full time duration, and the product syllabus prescribed by NCTB. The above matter has been communicated to all concerned education boards and instructions and instructions have been issued to take necessary action.
It is noticing that the 2020 HSC examination was postponed due to the corona virus pandemic in that year. And the next three session HSC examinations were held according to a short syllabus for many obstacles. The 2024 HSC examination also held a short syllabus. Now after resolving all the problems, it has been said that the HSC examination will be held again following the full syllabus from 2026.
The government has ordered all health-related instructions to prevent the rapid spread of corona virus and dengue fever. In addition the government has taken various steps to prevent question leaks. Many exam centers have been relocated and canceled to avoid any disruption to the exam.
It is hoped that the 2026 HSC examination will be conducted smoothly. It is also expected that the examination will start from June 26 and continue till August 10. And it is also expressed that the practical exam will be held from August 11 to 21. Unless there is any further disaster or health crisis, next year’s HSC examination as per the above dates.
