Dark circles around the eyes are a common problem for both men and women. There are various reasons behind this. It is possible to solve this problem with the help of natural ingredients.
Causes of dark circles around the eyes:
Age: One of the main reasons for dark circles is age. As we age, the skin becomes thinner. And because of this, the blood vessels under the skin become visible. As a result, the area around the eyes looks darker.
Increased pressure on the eyes: ‘Screen time’, that is, spending too much time on mobile and computer screens, increases the pressure on the eyes. As a result, the blood vessels around the eyes become larger and blackness appears.
Dehydration: One of the main reasons for dark circles around the eyes is dehydration. Lack of sufficient water in the body makes the skin dull and dark.
Home remedies to remove dark circles:
Cold compress: The area around the eyes looks dark due to dilated blood vessels. Therefore, applying cold compress to the eyes helps in removing the dark circles.
Cucumber: Cut the cucumber into thin slices or finely grate it and refrigerate it for 45 to 50 minutes. Place the cold cucumber on the affected area and wait for 10 minutes. Use it twice a day for good results.
Vitamin E and Almond Oil: Mix equal amounts of almond oil and vitamin E and massage it on the dark circles around the eyes before going to bed at night. Wash it off with cold water in the morning. Use regularly until you see results.
Tea bags: Soak two tea bags in hot water, cool them and keep them in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes. Then place them over your eyes, wait for five minutes and wash them off with cold water. Regular use will remove dark circles.
Tomato: Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants that reduce discoloration around the eyes. Mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with one teaspoon of lemon juice and apply it around the eyes. Wait for 15 minutes and wash it off with cold water. Tomato juice can be drunk regularly to maintain good skin health.
Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is rich in natural soothing ingredients. Massage aloe vera into your skin for five minutes and rinse with cool water. Studies show that it reduces wrinkles, increases collagen, and helps keep skin moisturized.
